A number of DCED agencies have begun to collaborate on the theme of Green
Growth, exploring how best to respond to the opportunities and
challenges that climate change presents to Private Sector Development. As a first step, and in line with the
recommendations
of the DCED's Annual Meeting in November, BMZ/GTZ and UNDP prepared a proposal for a Green Growth Working Group under the DCED.

UNDP also created a primer that explains the likely effects of
climate change on physical, biological and human systems. The primer can

On behalf of the Green Growth Working Group, ILO has prepared a concept note on the 'Private Sector Contribution to Adaptation to Climate Change', which can be read

The first meeting of the Green Growth Working Group took place in Eschborn, May 2010. The Minutes of this meeting, and subsequent meetings, are to be posted below.
