While every agency posts its key findings on-line, there are rather few libraries where you can find key documents from all agencies. The DCED operates two databases, which include many substantive documents about interventions in the field; they are structured around the typical programme cycle. Between them, they receive about 70,000 page views per month; additional contributions of a substantive nature are very welcome, and should be sent to the Secretariat.
Linkages and Value Chains
The database at www.Value-Chains.org features documents on value chain development, making markets work for the poor, and BDS; in particular, it includes a wealth of research into specific value chains and service markets in many developing countries. It also includes programme reports, which enable the visitor to follow progress of many programmes through from design to evaluation. The site also includes entries for "Events and Courses" and "Other Opportunities".
Business Environment Reform
The database at www.Business-Environment.org primarily includes the many peer-reviewed case studies on the theme, generated by the series of DCED Conferences on this theme, 2005-2007. It also features "Events and Courses" and "Other Opportunities" entries.
