PSD in CAE Curriculum Development Writeshop - Background Reading

The DCED's Steering Group on Private Sector Development (PSD) in Conflict-Affected Environments (CAEs) launched the process of developing an inter-agency training course, to ensure that practitioners are adequately trained in how to best carry out PSD in a conflict-affected context.

With the view to get the input from field practitioners practitioners to make the training practical, hands-on and based on case studies, a training curriculum development writeshop was held 11-15 June 2012 in Turin, Italy, with practitioners from various agencies. The design was subsequently taken forward by ILO, GIZ and consultants.
